Main TTS settings

Engine Selection

The Text-to-Speech Settings page allows you to choose between two TTS engines: Piper and Kokoro. Between the two engines, there is a total of 60 voices available in Assistivox AI.

Selecting an Engine

  • Click on either Piper or Kokoro to select it as your active TTS engine
  • A checkmark will appear next to your selected engine
  • When you switch engines, Assistivox AI will use the last voice you selected for that engine

Engine Configuration

After selecting an engine, use the configuration buttons to access detailed settings:

Piper TTS Settings

Click the "Piper TTS Settings" button to: - Browse and select from installed Piper voices - Download additional voices if needed

Kokoro TTS Settings

Click the "Kokoro TTS Settings" button to: - Browse and select from available Kokoro voices organized by gender and accent - Configure GPU usage settings - Adjust Docker port settings

Speed Control

The settings page includes a speed control slider that applies to whichever TTS engine is currently selected. You can adjust the speech rate from slow to fast to match your listening preferences.

Use the "← Back" button to return to the previous settings menu.
