The File Explorer provides an accessible interface for navigating your file system with keyboard shortcuts and favorites management.

Opening Files

Folder Navigation

Navigate through your file system using the left panel directory structure:

  • Double-click: Open folders in the left panel to see their contents
  • Alt + Up Arrow: Navigate up to the parent directory

Favorites Management

Manage frequently used folders for quick access:

  • Ctrl + Alt + F or click the Favorite button: Add current folder to favorites list (appears at bottom of left panel)
  • Ctrl + Alt + F or click the Favorite button (on favorited folder): Remove folder from favorites list

The favorites system allows you to easily access certain folders without navigating through the full directory structure each time.

Saving and Exporting Files

Choose the destination folder for your files:

  • Spacebar: Select the current folder as the save destination

After selecting a folder with spacebar, you will be prompted to type the file name for your document.
