Export Files

The Document Editor provides export functionality, allowing you to save your document as a format other than ASVX. Export operations create new files in the selected format while preserving your original document.

Export Options

Export your current document using the keyboard shortcut:

  • Alt + E: Open export format selection window

Supported Export Formats

The formats supported are:

  • PDF (.pdf) - requires Docker to be installed and running
  • Markdown (.md)
  • Text (.txt)

Export vs. Save

Export (Alt+E): Creates a copy of your document in a different format without changing your current working file.

Save (Ctrl+S): Saves changes to your current working document in ASVX format.
